What I Do
I’m Alexa Westerfield! I’m a multi-faceted marketing unicorn specializing in social media, content creation, and creativity! I’ve evolved my skills over my 20+ year career from graphic design to photography to copywriting to video editing to social media strategy.
I have worked for over 15+ years in the crafts/DIY industry and have a specialty in content development and marketing for the creative consumer. I’ve developed successful influencer marketing campaigns, designed award-winning product packaging, worked with national retail partners like Walmart and Michaels, as well as guided content from idea to final execution.
I have contributed to and have had content featured on many nationally-recognized media channels and publications including The Rachael Ray show, NBCnews, Refinery 29, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Apartment Therapy, Teen Vogue, Glamour, Reader’s Digest, Redbook, Right This Minute and several more.
I’ve appeared on several podcasts and video channels including Association for Creative Industries Podcast, Creative Queso, and Mucho Motivation.
I’ve also been featured on a Jones Soda box and bottle as well as a video for the band Queen!
Brands I’ve worked with
I’ve worked with nationally-known companies and brands including Purina, Tulip, Aleene’s, JoAnn, Michaels, Walmart, DecoArt, Fresno Yosemite International Airport, Retail Me Not, Darby Smart, Alt Summit, Ordrslip, and many more.
In addition, I’ve also created content for craft industry trade publications like Association for Creative Industries and Craft Industry Alliance.
As both a content creator for my own personal brand and brand representative for a national brand, I have deep understanding of business operations – everything from deadlines and negotiations to client deliverables and expectations.
